The European Commission has today published 77 (update: further responses are being added incrementally, there are now 82) non-confidential contributions that it received following the publication of its Information and Consultation Document on the Treatment of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) under the EU Regulatory Framework.
The individual contributions, emanating from national governments, national regulatory authorities, various trade associations, trade unions and end-user associations, individual incumbent and new entrant operators, equipment suppliers, etc. can be accessed by clicking here.
The European Commission’s Information and Consultation document was discussed in detail a previous T-REGS news item, which can be accessed by clicking here.
T-REGS is actively involved in regulatory issues surrounding VoIP, at national level in many EU Member States, and has drafted, and contributed to, several of the contributions that were filed in response to the EU consultation.
