Estonia: Number portability introduced on 1 Jan 2004 Print E-mail
Tuesday, 06 January 2004
ImageFollowing the introduction of number portability in Estonia on 1 Jan 2004, the Estonian National Communications Board (Sideamet) has established a publicly accessible database of ported numbers.

Fixed public telephone network operators are obliged to use the system and have to register all information about ported numbers into the database.

The database enables end-users to verify the porting status of numbers.

The database can be accessed by clicking here (information in Estonian only)
