Ofcom, the newly established converged regulatory authority in the United Kingdom, has today published a set of responses to Frequently Asked Questions on Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), which is officially entitled "Questions and Answers on Voice over IP and Voice over Broadband services".

This replaces the Oftel FAQ on which T-REGS reported earlier, although some questions remain open, as they remain the subject of consultations, on which T-REGS also reported earlier.

The full text of the new Ofcom FAQ can be accessed by clicking here.
