The Government of Malta has published a "Bill to amend various laws relating to communications and to make provision with respect to matters ancillary thereto or connected therewith", described in shorthand as the "Communication Laws (Amendment) Act, 2004".

This proposed legislation modifies the Telecommunications (Regulation) Act, and the Malta Communications Authority Act.
